Croydon railway station is a railway station on both the Grange railway line and Outer Harbor railway lines, which is located in the western Adelaide suburb of Croydon. It is located 4.2 km by railway from Adelaide Railway Station. The station opened in 1888, and had the station buildings and platforms transferred from the defunct Torrens Bridge station. The station has been unattended since 1981. The station has the Caution More Than One Trains Lights. Another set of them are being built on the other side of the crossing due to upgrading the crossing maze. These are used for various times of the day.show more
