Description

This historic book may have numerous typos and missing text. Purchasers can usually download a free scanned copy of the original book (without typos) from the publisher. Not indexed. Not illustrated. 1895 edition. Excerpt: ...we are not sanguine over the situation. Our trade is very slow to place orders, and if they do place them will 110t under any circumstances agree to pay for them except on long time. We, therefore, want to state to you frankly the situation, and outline to you the facts, stating to you that if shipments are made to us we will not be able to pay for them until November 15th. Ordinarily you appreciate that the circumstances have been different, and lest there might be a misunderstanding, and before a bulk of shipments have been made, we wa11t to advise with you as to this matter, as we know that it would be wrong to allow you to make the shipments, and then t-ry to adjust the terms after the shipments had reached us. Kindly allow us to hear from you as to your decision in the matter, that we may make our calculations accordingly, as we want to be honorable and frank with you, and wish to have everything perfectly satisfactory, and nothing at all unreasonable nor unjust. Very respectfully yours, REUBEN Woo1)'s Sons. 358 GEORGE B. Woon, CHARLES W. Woon and Jonu A.
