They have been written in the intervals of pressing du ties, and form the outlines, many of them, of sermons preached in the parish church of Tunbridge, while it was my privilege to be there as its temporary minister. I trust, though there is little about them worthy of meeting the public eye, there may be some few grains of truth in the midst of the chaff by which they are surrounded, which the God of all grace may use for His glory.
