About Ceri Olofson

CERI OLOFSON is a cake designer and owner of acclaimed London-based wedding cake specialists Olofson Design. A leader in her field, Ceri has developed a reputation for design-led wedding cakes which are regularly featured in the UK and international press, including Brides magazine and Wedding Cakes: A Design Source. Ceri began baking at an early age, influenced by the patisseries from her childhood spent in France. By the age of 15 she already had a recipe binder of her own tried and tested baked treats, many of which she still uses to this day. After training in the fine arts and gaining a degree from the University of the Arts London, her passion for baking and creative eye inevitably collided. Learning sugarcraft from the ground up, she has developed a practical approach to cake decoration and enjoys creating designs using accessible tools and ingredients. Ceri teaches classes in iced cookies and cake decoration and has been invited to tutor internationally, whilst also continuing to run Olofson Design and personally designing every wedding cake. Ceri is also an artist, painting large abstract canvases and taking photographs in her spare time.
