About Margaret Chappell

Margaret Chappell was born and raised in Suffolk. She was deputy head mistress of a village school in Norfolk before her daughter took over after her retirement. She now lives in Bergh Apton in a converted old forge. This is her debut novel at seventy eight years of age.show more
