This led to the investigation of all our pins and brought to our notice the fact that the pins worn by the vice presidents general and State regents were reproductions of the Grand Army eagle. At the meeting of the national board of management on April 21, 1919, it was voted that the board ratify the selection of new designs for the active officers and vice-presidents general "and that the board accept a new design for the president general's pin.
