Description

This historic book may have numerous typos and missing text. Purchasers can usually download a free scanned copy of the original book (without typos) from the publisher. Not indexed. Not illustrated. 1912 edition. Excerpt: ...1 Inve4tigation into the treatment of ores and other mineral substances, $e0,000.--The demand for this work is more general than for any other new work. The wa4te or losses in American mining and metallurgical industries are estimated to be equivalent to not less than $400,000,000 yearly, a 01nsiderable part of which can be saved.
