Excerpt: ...city and the board of auditors of Wayne county, or any committee thereof appointed for the purpose, may at all reasonable times inspect the records and Papers of said recorder's court, and the clerk thereof shall give them, when requested, any information within his power or knowledge concerning such records and papers, and concerning all fines and penalties imposed by said court. (595) SEO. 27. The city of Detroit shall be liable for all reasonable costs_and expenses, and the board of prisoners incurred in Prosecutions for otfe'nses and proceedings in said rec0rder's court, arising under this act or any ordinance or regulation of the common council of said city; and the county of Wavue shall be liable for all reasonable costs and expenses, and boardt of prisoners incurred in P1'$9Il1'Ei0I1s for offenses and proceedings in said court, arising under the general lavs of the state; but if there be a conviction and sentence of confinement in the Detroit house of correction of 5313 1_t '-fl' any oifense now or hereafter punishable by imprisonment 1! _the state prison, the expenses attending the confinement of the prlsoner, after sentence, shall be paid by the state treasurer, 'lwterly quarter-yearly, on the certificate of the city controller that such exllenses have been incurred.
