A Nominating Convention, conducted in much the same way as the Convention provided for by the present Trustees' resolution and composed of representatives, on a similar basis of representation, from the school associations and from the Columbia Alumni Clubs affiliated with the Federation. The method of electing delegates to this Convention to be left to each individual organization represented. 2. The selection by this Convention of three names to be submitted, for a mail ballot, to all graduates and former students of the schools maintained by the corporation of Columbia University, eligible for membership in the Alumni Federation. The candidate receiving the highest number of votes in the mail ballot to be certified to the Thustees as the nominee for the Alumni Trusteeship. 3. Any representative in the Convention may place candidates in nomination; or any ten members of the Alumni Federation may suggest to the Convention over their signatures the name of a candidate. The name of any eligible candidate so presented must be formally placed in nomination in the Convention.
