Colored Patriots of The American Revolution
In 1855 a book was published detailing the heroic men and women who helped America become free. It showed how many Africans, many of whom were slaves excelled in society and became patriots during the war. This book will open your eyes to many Americans who were free men and despite being forced to America, became true patriots in their own rights and were Americans. However, this book has become lost as is has become a forgotten part of history. Many of the facts contained within this book may have been lost if not for the heroic actions of the author who wrote down the historical aspects which today are no longer being taught in the classrooms. If you read this book, it will open your eyes to a history that hasn't been told in nearly 150 years.
