The station's original location is now a car park for the River Wharfe. Collingham is a village and civil parish 2 miles (3 km) south east of Wetherby in West Yorkshire, England. It is in the City of Leeds metropolitan borough. The clergyman, the Reverend William Mompesson was born there in 1639.
