Our customer reviews
It took me a long while to understand and appreciate what it meant to be a co-dependent. From a spunky vivacious bubbly strong personality with high self esteem I fell so far into the abyss I hardly had any self respect for myself when my ex partner walked out on me one evening without even informing me. I blamed myself for so long, until my counsellor and doctors advised me to read this book. Melodie writes so beautifully that she comes across as someone who is sympathetic but knows this issue deep enough to recommend the best boundaries one should have when in or out of a co-dependent relationship. I encourage those in a rescuer or parent role in a relationship to read this book...it was life changing for me and I am on a better healing path because of this book.
Thank you so much.show more
