Description

The four colors that are the basis of comics coloring serve as the
jumping-off point for creators to push the boundaries of short graphic fiction
in the new Vertigo Quarterly: CMYK series. Starting with stunningly
simple, bold covers, CMYK defies all conventions of traditional comics
anthologies. The unifying color could suggest a mood, a plot point, a coloring
technique - limited only by the imagination of the fantastic creators
we've lined up. These tales are written and illustrated by some of the best
talents in comics, including Fabio Moon, Jock, James Tynion IV, Tony Akins,
Peter Milligan, Nathan Fox, Gerard Way, and many others.
Collects Vertigo Quarterly: Cyan #1, Vertigo Quarterly:
Magenta #1, Vertigo Quarterly: Yellow #1, and Vertigo Quarterly:
Black #1.

About Fabio Moon

Fabio Moon and Gabriel Ba are twin brothers, born in Sao Paulo, Brazil, where they live until this day. They have their friends there and their family; it's their home. They have been telling stories in comic book form for almost fifteen years, and their work has been published in France, Italy, Spain, Greece, Japan, Germany, as well as in the U.S. and Brazil. They like their coffee black, with no sugar, so that the taste is strong and memorable. They believe stories should taste equally strong and be just as memorable. They work with a fresh pot that's always handy in the studio to make sure they never forget that.
