Low Co., of this city, was recently incorporated, with a capital stock of $50,000, to continue the business which has been established by Frank.l. Low. The ofiicers are: Frank M. Low, president. and Edwin G. Farrarr and Charles Sumner Cook, directors. Providence, R. I.--B. H. Kaufman opened his new hat store in this city, which is located at the corner of "'estminster and Matthewson streets. March I8. Mr. Kaufman conducts a chain of stores, which are located in New York, Brooklyn, Newark and Philadelphia. Lawrence, Mass.----H. B. & G. VV. Ober have purchased the clothing and furnishing goods business of Felix & Sons, and will continue the business. Altera tions and improvements will be made and the store will be made very attractive. Vesterley, R. I.--Max Bendett, dealer in clothing, furnishing goods and hats, has leased the store which adjoins his present establishment and will occupy the same, thus doubling his present space. Mr. Bendett will rearrange and refit his store, making one of the most attractive retail stores in this section of the state. Fall River, Mass.--A new department store will be opened in this place early in April under the name of the M. J. Doran Co. The new firm has been incorporated by: John T. Doran, president; Michael Doran, treasurer; James E. Doran. clerk; Hannah Doran, Thomas A. Sullivan and VVilliam Doran. The capital stock is placed at $50,000.00. Hartford. Conn. Dower & Cosgrove. dealers in clothing, have leased three floors in the building at 26 and 30 Asylum street. Cambridge, Mass.--G.'C. VV.
