The contract for supplying the members of the police force with their Spring and Summer helmets was recently awarded to Blaylock & Blynn. The firm also submitted a new style of cap for the captains and lieutenants, which was adopted. H. M. Harvey. retail men's furnishing goods, who was formerly located at Broad and Westmoreland sts., has moved to his new store at 3214 Germantown ave. Goefirey M. /Veiler, formerly a traveling representative for S. F. & A. F. Miller & Co., Baltimore, Md., has connected himself with the Summer clothing manufacturing firm of Hexter Bros., and will represent them on the road next season. The genuine Guyot suspenders, for which Ostheimer Bros., are the sole agents in the United States and Canada, will be exhibited by the Maison Ch. Guyot in the French section of the Manufacturers' Building at the Louisiana Purchase Exposition, which opens at St. Louis this month. Chas. Wimpfheimer, who has been connected with Cohen, Goldman & Co., of New York, for the past eight years, has joined the traveling stafl' of A. B. Kirschbaum & Co., which firm he will represent in the Middle West. The retail hat store of George M. Keebler, at Eleventh and Walnut sts., will soon be removed to the Mint Arcade Building, on Chestnut st., below Broad st. The new clothing factory which N. Snellenburg & Co. will erect at Broad and Wallace sts., will be a six-story and basement structure of granite, brick and terra cotta, and will cost about $300,000.
