Clodoaldo Tavares de Santana, better known as Clodoaldo is a former Brazilian footballer. He was usually a defensive midfielder for both Santos Futebol Clube and the Brazilian national team, for whom he was capped 38 times between 1969 and 1974. He could also play as an offensive midfielder. He was part of the Brazil squad that won the Football World Cup 1970, having himself contributed to the famous goal by Carlos Alberto Torres against Italy in the final: Clodoaldo dribbled past four of the opposition's players in his own half before starting a series of passes that ended in the goal.
