Please note that the content of this book primarily consists of articles available from Wikipedia or other free sources online. Claydon railway station is a former railway station serving the village of Steeple Claydon in Buckinghamshire. Claydon Junction, about 3 kilometres east of Claydon station and about 1 kilometre north of Calvert railway station, is where the former Great Central Main Line met the Varsity Line. The Great Central closed north of here in 1966, leaving the section via Quainton to Aylesbury open as the Aylesbury branch of the Varsity Line.
