Review quote

Alex T Smith's latest creation is a perfect combination of words and pictures, which make an engaging, inventive and humorous caper * Inis * This is a great introduction for a younger audience to the 'Claude' series and will have little ones laughing out loud. * School Librarian * Claude is a delightful character whose resourcefulness and joie de vivre will appeal to both youngsters and adults. Clever use of colour and typography brings the story and its characters to life, and offers plenty of opportunity for noisy interaction. * Book Trust * A real corker ... writer-illustrator Smith carefully introduces little children to new words and sounds (whoosh) and fired their imaginations with a surprisingly friendly sea monster ... I particularly liked the hat and bow tie that Nigel wears * Belfast Telegraph * I loved it -- Helen Hewett * Cotswold Life * With irreverent humour and engaging illustrations, this is perfect to be read out loud and will appeal to anyone who wants to go on a secret escapade! * South Wales Evening Post * This is Claude's first outing in a picture book, and it's a real corker ... writer-illustrator Smith carefully introduces little children to new words and sounds, and fires their imaginations with a surprisingly friendly sea monster * Press & Journal * With wonderful humour and brilliant illustrations, this is a joy of a book. * Parents In Touch * For emerging readers I recommend the Claude books by Alex T. Smith...with easy-to-follow text, a playful layout and humorous illustrations * Sunday Independent * For a child who loves a good laugh, Claude All At Sea is a sweet, funny, colourfully illustrated story * The Irish Independent * Brilliant, brilliant, brilliant fun; every spread brims over with visual and verbal delights.
