Aladdin Aladdin must have work,' the magician told Aladdin's mother. 'He can work for me.' The magician took Aladdin to the hills. He told him to get an old lamp from a cave. The little mermaid wanted legs. The sea witch wanted the little mermaid's beautiful voice. So the witch gave the little mermaid a magic drink, and cut off her tongue. The little mermaid swam up by the Prince's palace and drank the drink. The Prince liked this strange girl and she went everywhere with him. But the Prince only loved one girl - the girl who saved him from the stormy sea. The little mermaid wanted to say, 'That girl was me.' But she had no voice.
