Before beginning to spray it should be clearly understood that although spraying is not a complicated operation, still there are a few precautions that must be kept in mind: 1. When spraying, always cover the object sprayed thoroughly and evenly. Every, spot of the plant must be covered. 2. When the plants are in leaf never spray with a solution that is recommended for dormant spraying. The solution is too strong and will kill the foliage. 3. Never spray when the plants are in bloom. Wait a day or two to avoid killing the bees and other beneficial insects. 4. When spraying, use as high a pressure as possible. This breaks up the spray into a mist so that all parts will be evenly covered. 5. Always use the spray formulas as recommended. If the pump is not cleaned and is allowed to stand, it will soon rust out., 7. Do not be disappointed if more
