Our customer reviews

First of all, let me tell you that this was a wonderful book, and it contained all necessary elements to make it a truly fun and sweet historical romance. I can identify with Eugenia--her first husband was like mine, but I had to divorce mine. It is an automatic hit when a romance stars two widowers in Fort Worth, Texas 1800's. Add in a snowstorm (which doesn't happen that often even today), and you never know what might happen (although the title might just give it away). I appreciated the fact that much of this happened in a church. What could be more wondrous at Christmastime than a children's pageant? The profanity was fairly mild, and it was good to see people praying and talking about the Lord. While I am not permitting this one issue to affect the rating, I was very disappointed that the two main characters were intimate before marriage. The intimacy scene was somewhat descriptive, but thankfully it was not overly so. I understand why these two didn't wait, but I think there would have been fewer complications and a much nicer story without those hot and heavy scenes. But that is just a personal preference. The interactions between our lovebirds were very natural and fun to read. I would love to see a sequel to this book. I can assure you that I would devour it! This is the perfect holiday tale. I was sent a copy of this book in exchange for my honest review. I was not financially compensated, and all opinions are 100 percent mineshow more
