Charles Anthony Snell (born Charles Anthony Schnell from November 29, 1893 to April 4, 1988), was a Major League Baseball catcher who played in 1912 with the St. Louis Browns. He batted and threw right-handed. Snell had a .211 batting average in 8 games, 4 hits in 19 at-bats, in his one year career. He was born in Hampstead, Maryland and died in Reading, Pennsylvania. Major League Baseball (MLB) is the highest level of professional baseball in the United States and Canada, consisting of teams that play in the National League and the American League. The two leagues merged in 2000 into a single MLB organization led by the Commissioner of Baseball after 100 years as separate legal entities.
