Review Text

Sometimes it is best to let a book speak for itself. Descriptions: Cheetah- "our Woolly Boy, the Peril of the Punchbowl"; Pardos- "was not likely to add to our history of loving fathers. He was what we might term a little 'techy' with his children." However, "No one had ever yet seen him look at another lady." Helpful Hints: "It is as natural in a tomcat to spray as it is for any cat to catch birds and mice and butterflies; as natural as for us to employ our own courting devices and eat bullocks and chickens. Those of us who blame or punish our cats for these things might well look closely into our own lives first." etc. ad infinitum. The cats do have individual characteristics but they will have a hard time overcoming the press Miss Edwards couches them in. It's enough to make a cat nap. (Kirkus Reviews)show more
