By this ar rangement, six hours are devoted to recitations and lectures on Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday. Monday has but four; the forenoon of Saturday is set apart for the meetings of the two Literary Societies, Composition and Declamation receive due attention throughout the whole course. The three lower classes are required to declaim in private before the Professor of Rhe toric, and afterwards in the presence of the Faculty.
