Description

Please note that the content of this book primarily consists of articles available from Wikipedia or other free sources online. The Castle River is a river in the southeast of the Wairarapa district of the North Island of New Zealand. It rises on the flanks of the Aorangi Range at the edge of the Aorangi Forest Park and flows eastward, joining Rough Stream 1.6km north of that stream's confluence with the Opouawe River. Wairarapa (M ori pronunciation [wai a apa]; usually approximated in English as / wa r r p /) is a geographical region of New Zealand. It occupies the south-eastern corner of the North Island, east of metropolitan Wellington and south-west of the Hawke's Bay region. It is lightly populated, having several rural service towns, with Masterton being the largest. It is named after its largest lake, Lake Wairarapa.show more
