It is located southwest of Red Deer. It is most famous for being the hometown of figure skater Kurt Browning, for whom the local ice rink is named. The village has a land area of 1.98 square kilometres (0.76 sq mi) and a population density of 259.8 inhabitants per square kilometre (673 /sq mi).
