About Victor Aronovich
Victor Aronovich has lived in and traveled to many countries. Most of his life he worked as a documentary filmmaker, including 20 years as an ABC-TV writer, producer, and director. Victor's films won many national and international awards, including four Emmys. He has also been teaching for years, and currently is an adjunct professor at DePaul University in Chicago. As a filmmaker, Aronovich spend countless hours with a broad range of people from all walks of life: rich and poor, famous and outsiders, industry CEO's and welfare mothers. Most of his films portray the lives of people living in the pursuit of happiness. Victor devoted years to searching for ways to make his own life happier until he realized that he, like millions of others, lived by the wrong chain of thoughts and actions. After a long time of seeking, it became clear to Victor that he was looking for love outside of himself while the everlasting, truly satisfying love was inside of him all along. Then, he spent more years learning how to go about establishing the connection with this eternal love and leading a better life. And that's how the book Can I have a Better life, Please? came about; it is the result of Aronovich's own search and discovery. Victor's hope is to present his discoveries to as many people as possible.
