Geoffrey Campbell McComas AM (5 May 1952 - 8 January 2005) was an Australian comedian, writer and actor. McComas attended Caulfield Grammar School and Scotch College in Hawthorn, Melbourne, and studied law and arts at Monash University. After practising law for several years, he became one of Australia's most renowned public speakers and comedians. McComas's start in comedy was in May 1976, when he made his famous hoax lecture at Monash pretending to be Glanville Williams, "alternative professor of English law at University of Cambridge."show more
