Lee William "Buzz" Capra (born October 1, 1947 in Chicago, Illinois) was a Major League Baseball pitcher from 1971 to 1977 for the New York Mets and Atlanta Braves. His best season was 1974, when he was 16-8 with a league-leading 2.28 earned run average, and was named a National League All-Star. As a collegiate pitcher and shortstop, Capra and the rest of the Illinois State University Redbirds won the 1969 NCAA College Division (now known as Division II) Championship.
