About Andy Fletcher
Andy Fletcher was born in 1950 in Liverpool and left home at 14 to work on various fairgrounds before falling foul of the law and landing in youth custody where he became one of the last few young prisoners sentenced to bread and water for being troublesome. Totally put off crime by the six months spent in solitary confinement with its daily beatings and general abuse, he become a crewmember on the Mersey Ferries as a prelude to joining a Mediterranean sea salvage vessel before working ashore as a seismic prospector in the Libyan and Tunisian Sahara. Fletcher lived in Malta, occasionally returning to the UK where he tried his hand at various businesses including a scrapyard, a fruit business running out of Liverpool and a meat supply business working out of Smithfield in London. In the eighties he started a telephone chat-line when he invented the character of Jenny The Maid, in weekly, serialised drama. He spent most of the nineties sailing the European rivers from Northern Holland to the South of France while writing several novels and numerous screenplays with a Hollywood director he met in London. His second novel - JUSTICE - is published on Amazon.
