From Webster Grovos Supt Hnmsher reports that the tax levy of $1.90 carried by o vote of two to one and n bond issue oi' $28,000 was authorized. This is an addition to the $3-16.000 voted last year for the erection of new buildings and will complete the building program undertaken inst year. The salary schedules which are very liberal will remain the same. At Morley, according to Supt. Ralph Mccullouph, a levy of $1.00 was voted nnd transportation for the children from the out-lying districts was authorized. Tho salary schedule will remain unchanged. At Stella a levy of ton csnts over that of inst year was authorized. Sentiment seems to be for leaving teachers' salaries us they are. A new building is being planned but will not be definitely undertaken until the County Unit Bill is passed on. At Ssdslis the teachers' committee recommended s $5.00 advance on the maximum nnd minimum salary schedule of both A and B class teachers in the high school nnd grades. Supt. Green reports that the big proposition now is getting s junior and senior high school. This proposition will be submitted next October. Sentiment seems to be strong for this proposition and the coming year is bright in prospects. The usual levy was voted for the mnintalneneo of the school. Supt. W. S. Smith of Excelsior Springs reports that s levy of one dollar was voted and that there will be no general raise in salaries although a few of the teachers who are especially entitled to it will possibly be given s raise.
