LocaliIi.--A number of specimens of this Spadefoot were taken at' Tucson, where it is apparently a common form. Description of S)('I.'I7Zt'Il8.--These specimens have the coarsely tuberculate skiii, obscure parotids a iid rather distinct tynipniiiiin characteristic of S. coucliii. Color above diil l brownish yellow to bright greenish yellow, with an irregular network of br own bars. These may be broad and fewer with broad intersp-aces, or iiarro spaces.
