Karl Adam "Bud" Anderson (born May 27, 1956) is a former Major League Baseball relief pitcher, born in Westbury, New York. He was drafted by the Seattle Mariners in the third round of the 1977 amateur draft. Anderson signed on to play Minor League Baseball in the Seattle Mariners organization. He batted and threw right-handed during his baseball career. The Seattle Mariners traded Anderson to the Cleveland Indians on March 29, 1980, to complete an earlier trade. Anderson made his major league debut on June 11, 1982 with the Cleveland Indians at age 26. On that day, Anderson pitched three scoreless innings in relief.show more
