It is located 27 kilometers (17 mi) northwest of Turner Valley and 49 kilometers (30 mi) south-west of Calgary.The park has a surface of 3 km2 (1.2 sq mi) and is situated at an elevation of 1,370 m (4,495 ft). It was established on October 29, 1992 and is maintained by Alberta Community Development.According to the plaque located at the park entrance: "This natural landscape was donated to the people of Alberta in 1969, by Home Oil Company Limited in memory of its founders Robert Brown Sr. and Major James Robert Lowery.show more
