You really need to have a sense of humour to read this. I personally loved this book, because I also watch the show associated, I'm not plugging so if you know what show I'm talking about...yeah that one.
Anyone who does watch aforementioned unnameable show will know who Barney is and how funny he is, and this book reflects his character personality perfectly.
It's sexist, chauvinistic, idiotic, completely fake, and absolutely hilarious.
I think the scariest part about this book is its accuracy; there are quite a few rules in this book that I know men follow, some unconsciously.
And for those that just can't get enough of Barney's voice, he narrated the audio version.
I gave this book two ratings. The five was for those who watch the show and love Barney as much as I do. The three was for general readers, if you have a chance to read it, read it.
So that averages it out at a four. Which I think it definitely deserves.show more
