BradMet is the largest of the lunar colonies modelled on the industrial towns and cities of northern England. Arthur Rugg had a failed career as a third rate entertainer but eventually found fame as the host of a TV show called Talking Bollocks. Life for Arthur could have been a breeze from that point on if it hadn't been for Dame Botch. Botch is the corrupt, perverted president of BradMet and with an election coming up, she cannot afford to keep letting Arthur ridicule her and her councillors on his chat show. He must be dealt with and with Barry the Bastard at her disposal it looks like Arthur's well earned fame could be ending prematurely. But there is hope, Sunflower is the leader of the SRM, the Social Responsibility Movement, a group of fanatics determined to overthrow Botch and her regime. There's just one snag, the SRM are nothing more than a bunch of socialist layabouts and ex-glamour models trying to manage a Laundry vessel in space. Is it just possible that they can be transformed into an elite fighting force or will they just get their heads kicked in, and what have Llamas got to do with it?
