Bradley "Brad" Lee Gulden (born June 10, 1956 in New Ulm, Minnesota) is a former Major League Baseball player who played for the Los Angeles Dodgers, New York Yankees, Seattle Mariners, Montreal Expos, Cincinnati Reds, and San Francisco Giants. He debuted with the Dodgers on September 22, 1978 against the San Diego Padres after being drafted by L.A. in the 17th round of the 1975 Major League Baseball Draft. Gulden played in fewer than 10 games in four of his seven major league seasons and finished with a batting average of .200. Gulden was also the starting catcher for the Yankees in their first game after Thurman Munson's funeral in August, 1979; Munson having been killed in an airplane crash four days earlier.show more
