Please note that the content of this book primarily consists of articles available from Wikipedia or other free sources online. Bozdar or Buzdar is one of the larger Baloch tribes, found primarily in the mountainous area of the Koh e Suleiman range situated in Balochistan. The tribe is now found in Sindh (Tando Allahyar, Tando Muhammad Khan, Tando Ghulam Ali, Sukkar, Khairpur, Bozdar Wadda, Ghotki, Sewhan Sharif, Chambar, Khipro, Hyderabad, Matiari.) and the Dera Ghazi Khan district of Punjab province. British ethnologist H. A. Rose noted that their name is said to derive from the Persian buz ("goat"). He also stated that the tribe is not descended from the Baloch patriarch Rind, but from a goat-herd who married the widow of Rind's great-grandson, Shaun Ali.
