About Carol Dabney

Carol Dabney is the author and illustrator of "Bows and Butterflies." She has written dozens of children's books and reads at schools and libraries across the country. She is the mother of five children and a grandmother. She is the music teacher at St. Mark's Day School in Little Rock, Arkansas. Cindy Reyes has added the Spanish translation to the story. The Monarch Butterflies migrate to Mexico each winter, which makes the Spanish readings even more of an enriching experience for young children. "On The Wings Of Dreams" is a poem by Donna Watkins and has been added to the introduction of the book. Music has been composed by Rod Ragsdale and the audio book with song will also be available.
