Salivation, which I have observed seve ral times, after the use, for several days, as a topical application in ozaena, of powders containing calomel and other mercurials, while showing me with what facility the pituitary membrane absorbs, suggested to me the idea of returning to this metho absorption in the painful affections of head and the diseases of the eyes.
