A collection of lullabies from a distinguished cast of Pacific writers. Tessa Duder's own family favourite lullaby is joined by contributions from Joy Cowley, Margaret Mahy, Peggy Dunstan, John Marsden, Hinewehi Mohi, Patricia Grace, Barbara Else, Diana Noonan, Sia Figiel, Trish Gribben, Colin Gibson, Jocelyn Marshall, Anna Maria Dell'oso, Wendy Orr, Joy Watson, Michelanne Forster and Melina Fasavalu. Variously parents, grandparents, aunties and uncles themselves, they bring together lullabies from New Zealand, Australia and the Pacific Islands, creating a collection of lullabies for our children, full of the natural rhythms, images and metaphors of our Pacific world.
