Robert Raymond "Bob" Sohl (March 28, 1928 - April 8, 2001) was an American swimmer. He represented the United States at the 1948 Summer Olympics in London, where he received a bronze medal in men's 200 m breaststroke, finishing behind compatriots Joe Verdeur and Keith Carter. Sohl attended the University of Michigan. Sohl died in Highland Beach, Florida at the age of 73. Swimming is governed by the F d ration Internationale de Natation Amateur (FINA).show more
