Bliss : Living in Silent Awareness
What is bliss? What prevents bliss? How might one live in bliss? To answer these questions, Dr. Schultz explores a wide variety of bliss experiences recorded throughout time. These include those reported by Jesus, Rumi, Fritjof Capra, Michael Jackson, Alan Watts, Charles Lindbergh and many others along with various scientific explanations. The book is designed to integrate the hemispheres of the brain to support the nervous system's capacity to 'tune-in' to the bliss experience, or experience of oneness with all things, in an ongoing basis.

About Catherine J Schultz
Catherine Schultz, Ph.D. is a sociologist, author, inner scientist, college professor and Usui Reiki Master. Her book entitled "bliss: Living in Silent Awareness" based on her dissertation on the subject. While having many non-ordinary states experiences throughout her childhood, her 'big bang' experience occurred within the writing of her dissertation in 1998 while reading a line from dialogues between David Bohm and J. Krishnamurti stating "the problem is the entire movement of thought." Since then, she has continued to focus her attention on the silent awareness that is within each one of us and ever accessible and sees this inherent capacity as part of an overall movement of conscious evolution within the species. Her book is a reworking of her dissertation which aims to integrate the hemispheres of the brain for more stability in tuning in to the bliss experience of oneness with all things. Her current path of bliss includes the blessing of motherhood at the age of 49 to an amazing little daughter. She also treasures working with students of all ages and offers energy healing, individual bliss consultations and community workshops/retreats. She has over 27 years of experience in facilitating positive experiences for individuals and groups to learn new ways of accessing greater capacities for seeing and experiencing life.
