Blake Thomas Worsley (born November 7, 1987 in Vancouver, British Columbia) is a Canadian swimmer. He competed for Canada at the 2009 World Aquatics Championships and the 2010 Commonwealth Games, where he finished 12th. He was raised in Steamboat Springs, Colorado and swam for the University of Denver. Swimming is governed by the F d ration Internationale de Natation Amateur (FINA). Competitive swimming in Europe started around 200 BCE, mostly using the breaststroke. In 1873 Steve Bowyer introduced the trudgen to Western swimming competitions, after copying the front crawl used by Native Americans.show more
