About Alf Townsend

Alf Townsend was born in London in the 1930s. He was a London cabbie for 42 years and published his first book, Cabbie, with Sutton in 2003. He followed this up in 2005 with Bad Lads - a book about his National Service experience, and Blitz Boy - his evacuee story.show more
