Our customer reviews

In the hands of Gail Simone, Birds of Prey has become the go-to series for kick-ass superladies. This is possibly my favourite volume of the entire series; Black Canary teams up with Lady Shiva, the most dangerous assassin in the world, as they seek to figure out the murder of their shared master. You get to see Black Canary really show how tough she is as well as some of her backstory, and this story really booted her up my list of favourite superheroes. Meanwhile Oracle is having troubles of her own, and you get to see how she deals with her problem without her operatives, without her weapons, and even without her chair. There's also some great character interaction with Huntress going on there too. Basically this is just a book full of tough women being super tough and it's super amazing!show more
