Bilibinsky District is an administrative district (raion), one of the eight in Chukotka Autonomous Okrug, Russia. Municipally, it is incorporated as Bilibinsky Municipal District. It is located in the western portion of the autonomous okrug and in terms of non-municipal divisions borders with Chaunsky District in the northeast, Anadyrsky District in the east, Koryak Okrug of Kamchatka Krai in the southeast, Magadan Oblast in the southwest, and the Sakha Republic in the west. The area of the district is 174,700 square kilometers (67,500 sq mi). Its administrative center is the town of Bilibino. District's population: 7,696 (2010 est.); 8,820 (2002 Census); 27,847 (1989 Census). Population of Bilibino accounts for 70.1% of the district's population.
