Aimed at all those who dread squeezing their carbohydrate-fattened bodies into summer swimsuits, this is a month-long fitness programme that promises you a healthy, toned physique well before you need to bare it on the beach. Week one starts with the obligatory detox diet. Week two propels the participant into weight-loss mode through improved diet and exercise, with accompanying step-by-step photographic workouts. Week three and the theme is beauty, with the focus on achieving flawless skin and hair. If the reader manages to make it all the way through to week four then she will be 'energy wise' - feeling lighter, fitter and more healthy. The book provides some useful tips and sincere advice, but nothing new or different from any other dietary/weight loss/exercise/nutrition and lifestyle plans.
