The names of all persons who have received money from the Survey with the amounts paid in each case, appear in the statement of expenses from the Secretary of State, which is appended to this report. Miss Florence K. Denniston was engaged to draw the illustrations for Professor Cheney's report on the forest trees, and was paid various rates of compensation, according to the nature and amount of service rendered. II. FINANCIAL STATEMENT. Appended to this report is a statement from the Secretary of State, giving the names of all persons who have received money from! the Survey, with the amount received by each.
