Description

'So many fabulous women I know are between boyfriends, I'd like to put on record that this book is not about giving advice. It only seems like forever' A collection of cautiously hopeful and brilliantly entertaining essays on the art and practice of dating from one of America's funniest writers. If there's anyone who can ease you through the dating minefield, it's award-winning writer for SEX AND THE CITY Cindy Chupack. '[Chupack is] a guru on being single and fabulous ...This book offers lots of sassy advice as it steers you through the minefield of singledom ...Each chapter tackles a different area and Chupack includes plenty of funny anecdotes. It'll make you giggle and realise that you're not alone. If you like Sex and the City you'll love this book' HEATshow more

About Cindy Chupack

For five years until it ended Cindy Chupack was a writer and executive producer for Sex and the City. She joined the show in the second season, and episodes she penned have been nominated for WGA and Emmy awards. Like her onscreen character, Carrie Bradshaw, Cindy has written humorous essays about dating and relationships for Glamour, Harper's Bazaar and Allure, and had her own column in Glamour called 'Dating Dictionary'. She is in the process of filming a half-hour television pilot for ABC about an aging rock star, which Elton John is executive producing with her. Cindy serves on the advisory board of FINCA (Foundation for International Community Assistance) which is a non-profit organization that provides small loans to the world's poorest of the poor (mostly women) so they can care for their children and work their own way out of poverty.show more
